E-SAFETY

eSafety is a very important issue, both our school administration and teachers play a significant role in informing students and their parents about it. Our school is trying to safeguard, protect and educate pupils and staff in the acceptable use of technology and communications (including social media) and has  established mechanisms to identify, intervene and escalate any incident where appropriate

Our school was awarded with Bronz eSafety Label

Our school has a school eSafety policy which is necessary to ensure that students use digital technologies in the safest and the most secure environment possible whether they are at school or at home.The eSafety policy gives clear guidelines on inappropriate and appropriate usage of digital technologies. Our school offers some support, guidance and advice on eSafety issues for students and parents. they are informed about it throughout various medium such as school bulletin boards, leaflets, online meetings about eSafety with the teachers or through the messages delivered with the students. There are also certain guidelines concerning usage og mobile devices and other digital technologies in our school that school leaders and other personnel should take into account and communicate to parents. here are some of our school bulletin boards and leaflets about esafety:

Technology offers great opportunities for students  to explore information and create new things, but they need additional guidance on how to use it safely and responsibly.School policies explicitly refer to the integration of eSafety across the curriculum, so that all teachers are made aware of their shared responsibility.  That is why eSafety is embedded into the curriculum. Our students are informed about eSafety issues during the lessons. Students learn how to distinguish between inapropriate and positive content online, how to manage their information online and keep it safe. 

Parents play a vital role in the online safety of children at home. Our school offers help, guidance and support for parents. Teachers organise online meeting for parents to talk about eSafety issues and make them aware about it.Teachers always inform the parents about eTwinning projects and other activities that require students' participation and take parents' permissions before taking pictures and recording videos.

All teachers receive a regular training on eSafety issues and understand its importance in both the learning and administrative environments. Here are the pictures of some of the online webinars and certificates of the teachers who attended various courses concerning eSafety issues, such as Safety Label, Internet Netiquette rules, and Safer Internet usage attend different courses about e safety
