Birçok alışkanlığının kazanımı gibi okuma alışkanlığının da kritik dönemini aile ve okul dönemi oluşturmaktadır. Bu önemli alışkanlığın çocuklarımıza kazandırılması için okumanın rol oynamayla birleştirilmesi ve bu şekilde çocuklarımızın eğlenirken bu önemli alışkanlığı da kazanmalarının daha kolay olacağı düşüncesi ile ve eğitim programlarımızda sıkça değinilen “YAPARAK YAŞAYARAK ÖĞRENME” ilkesinin bir uygulaması olması bakımından bu proje son derece önemlidir.
Like the acquisition of many habits, the critical period of the reading habit is the family and school period. This project is very important in terms of combining reading with role-playing in order to bring this important habit to our children and in this way, it will be easier for our children to acquire this important habit while having fun, and because it is an application of the principle of "LEARNING BY DOING", which is frequently mentioned in our educational programs.

ÇALIŞMA SÜRECI / WORK PROCESS
Projemiz Aralık ayinda başlayıp 3 ay devam edecek.
Hazırlık aşamasında; aile eğitimi yapılacak ve bu eğitim ile ailelerde de okuma alışkanlığının kazanılmasına öncülük edilecek. Velilere proje tanıtılacak ve yapılacak çalışmalar belirlenerek, veliler görevleri konusunda bilinçlendirilecek.
Öğretmen-öğrenci-veli işbirliği sağlanacak. ‘’Okumak Yaşamaktır” projesi kapsamında kitap okuma alışkanlığının kazandırılması için öğrencilerin yaş ve seviyelerine uygun kitaplar gönüllü velilerce alınacak.
Öğrenciler gruplara ayrılacak. Alınan kitaplar öğrencilere dağıtılarak öğrencilerin okuduğu kitabı 15 gün sonra canlandıracakları söylenecek
Aileler evde günde kırk dakikayı geçmeyecek şekilde ailecek kitap okuma saatleri yapacak.
Gönüllü velilerle uygulamaya dikkat çekmek için uygulamanın adının yazıldığı kutu hazırlanacak.
Ev ziyaretleri ve veli görüşmeleri ile projenin takibi yapılarak öğretmen-öğrenci-veli işbirliği sağlanacak. (bu madde Pandemiden dolayı iptai olabilir)

The project will be introduced to the parents and the work to be done will be determined and the parents will be made aware of their duties.Teacher-student-parent cooperation will be provided. Within
the scope of the "Reading is Living" project, books suitable for the age and level of the students will be bought by volunteer parents in order to gain the habit of reading books.Students will be divided into groups. The purchased books will be distributed to the
students and it will be said that the students will revive the book they read in 15 days.Families will have family reading hours at home, not exceeding forty minutes a day.A box with the name of the application will be prepared to draw attention to the application
with the volunteer parents.Teacher-student-parent cooperation will be ensured by monitoring the project through home visits and parent meetings. (This item may be canceled due to Pandemic)
BEKLENEN SONUÇLAR / EXPECTED RESULTS
Uygulamadan beklenen en önemli sonuç faaliyete katılan çocuklarda okumanın alışkanlık haline gelmesi, duygusal, sosyal, zihinsel yönden gelişmesi, ailelerin bu konuda bilinçlenmesi ve bununla birlikte çocuklarda öz güvenin artması beklenmektedir. Okulun eğitim kadrosunda bunun gibi yeni projeler, yeni eğitim yaklaşımlarının ortaya çıkması, bunların tartışılması olası sonuçlar arasındadır
The most important result expected from the practice is that reading becomes a habit in children participating in the activity, it is expected to develop emotionally, socially and mentally, to raise awareness of families on this issue and to increase self-confidence in children. Among the possible results are new projects like this in the education staff of the school, the emergence of new educational approaches, and their discussion.
